Nana holds Munchkin!

Yesterday, Tuesday 5-29-2012 Nana got to hold Morgan for the first time!  Let the pictures do the talking...

Pool fun!

Today we went to the pool, and Morgan had a wonderful time! We all had some lunch, and spent an hour in the pool, where Morgan splashed around and rode around in her new ladybug floatie! It was so much fun! All in all we ended up staying at the pool for about 3 hours. Morgan fell asleep on the way home, and stayed asleep for the most part while I changed her into some dry clothes, she ended up napping for 3 hours! Patrick and I both were able to get a nap in as well. When we all woke up we had a cookout on the grill..yum! Tomorrow we are back at the pool, as it is Memorial Day, and they will be having a picnic for us yippee! We are soooo happy that Morgan loves the pool! Also, this evening Morgan was having a ball wearing Baba's socks haha!!

The Library!

Monday, we went to the library for the first time and I got Morgan her very own library card!! We sat in the childrens section for almost an hour, where she proceeded to empty out the entire basket (and it was a big basket) of books along with playing with her first puzzle.  I am not sure how much actual reading went on haha, as she was perfectly happy with just empting out the basket...but with in time she will catch on that this place is also fun when actually reading the books! In June the fun music/dancing and story telling class starts back up, and I plan to take her. That should be lots of fun, and she can interact with other kids her age.  After we were done at the library, we headed over to Nana's house to visit her and Lake (our other greyhound who had surgery right before we left for China, and can not yet do steps, to get into our house....so is staying at Nana's house til he is all healed) We stayed there for about an hour and a half and then headed home to get dinner together for when Baba got home. bath, story and bed and off to dreamland. Another fun thing she did yesterday was discover tissue paper and the shredding that goes in gift bags...Oh boy that was at least 20 min. of pure fun!

Happy 15 months and Happy one month!

On Sunday, 5-20-2012 (yesterday) Morgan turned 15 months old.  Also, she has been in our arms for a month already! WOW, I can not believe either one of those things!!We had a nice relaxing day  yesterday, and she went down for bed relatively smoothly again...she did wake up about 20 min after we put her to sleep, because she needed to burp again...but then off to dreamland.  This week I am going to try to push her nap closer to 10am instead of 9am...that way she can get a nap mid morning instead of right after she wakes up (at 6:40am) trial and error, but we are doing well!
